CHALLENGE
The aim of this project consists in exploring the relation between a place to live in and the sea.
The idea comes to redesign the interior space of and old 40 foots sailboat in order to adapt it to the necessities of a couple, which will use it as regular place to live in.
APPROACH
As if it were a sea cave, the project explores primitive methods in terms of how to live in a certain space looking forward to a sensorial lecture, but not a mathematical one.
This organic shape and formal design reflects the marine environment in it´s interior.
OUTCOME
Guarantee the basic habitat necessities achieving a project economically and technically viable.
Clear view of all the cabin from stern to bow and the other way around and a integrated lighting system in the space design.
